Dear Londoner supporters — Everything we do is made possible by you. That isn’t an exaggeration, simply a statement of fact. You’re the crème de la crème, the best of the best, the apple of our eye.
Since we launched last November, it’s been a thrilling, entertaining (and more than a little terrifying) journey, one we’re so glad that nearly 550 of you have decided to come on with us. But we’ll admit, we missed one crucial aspect: a launch party. Now it’s time to rectify that.
On the 12 June, we’re throwing a party at the Sekforde in Clerkenwell (real fans will remember this from our piece on spurious noise complaints killing pubs). In attendance will be our editor, Hannah; staff writers, Andrew and Miles; and a host of Londoner contributors and friends. We’d love you to join us.
Some info: things will kick off at 6pm, with the Londoner team talking about our work around 7pm. Tickets are £7, to cover the cost of venue hire. It’ll be fun, buzzy and intimate; a chance for us to put names to your beautiful faces.
